With our expert team

Whether you’re moving practices or you’re signing up to a dentist for the first time, we’re always ready to welcome new patients here at Dentique, Leicester. From nervous patients to those with children, we look forward to you becoming part of the Dentique family.

We always ask our new patients to book in with us for a preliminary consultation, so we can examine your teeth and gums and build a picture of your oral health and general lifestyle. This helps us to recommend any treatments you may need, and with a range of general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as facial aesthetics, we’re sure to have the solution for you, whatever your concern.

Simply superb in every respect, so glad I found this Practice.

Easily accessible location with ample parking space. Thoroughly professional service. Friendly. Highly trained and very experienced dental and clerical staff. They offer a complete service. Very easy to get appointment that suited my schedule. I have been looked after by Peter Crouse from the beginning, and 3 years down the line the results far exceeded my expectations.

Frequently asked questions
New patients at Dentique Dental Practice

  1. Dentique is based in Leicester in the East Midlands. We offer patient parking at the front of the practice and can accommodate wheelchairs with our two ground-level surgeries.  Our dedicated staff are always eager to help our patients, whatever their needs or mobility.

  2. We’re a private dental practice and don’t currently offer NHS treatment. With a private practice, you’ll usually have shorter waiting times and more treatment options, and we also offer finance options to help spread the cost of your treatment.

  3. We’ll examine your general oral health and can potentially identify any issues you might have, for example signs of decay. We’ll also use it as an opportunity to get to know a bit more about you and your dental habits, and can give you some advice on things like improving your dental routine or recommended dental products to try. If there are signs that you need treatment for a dental condition, we’ll then book you in for a full appointment at a later date.

If you’re looking to have a cosmetic treatment, we can also talk you through this during your consultation, giving you recommendations based on your skin type and concerns. We tailor all our treatment to your individual smile, so you can get the most out of it.

  4. We offer free consultations with our experienced treatment coordinator. This helps our patients relax in a private space and gives time to go through their dental needs and any concerns or phobias. We’re then on-hand to help build up your confidence if needed.

If you’d like a consultation direct with your dentist, we charge a fee of £75, and can usually organise this for the same day.

  5. We recommend treatments on a case-by-case basis, so your care is truly tailored to you. For those who have a good level of oral health, we might suggest something as straightforward as a routine scale and polish. Or, we may offer a solution to a specific problem, for example recommending a crown for a patient with a discoloured tooth.

  6. As a private practice, we recognise that our patients lead busy lives. That’s why we offer extended hours, with slots on Saturdays once per month. Our current opening hours can be found on our contact page

  7. It’s often as simple as having a regular dental routine. Brushing twice a day, and following up with interdental brushes or floss, not only helps keep your mouth feeling fresh, but can also tackle problems like plaque. Some of our patients also use a fluoride-containing mouthwash as part of their dental care.

  8. We aim to be as open about our pricing as possible, as we know this can be an important factor in deciding where and when to have treatments. Our most up-to-date fees information is available on our dedicated price list page.
