GIVE YOUR SMILE A NEW LEASE OF LIFE
WITH DENTURES

Whether you’re looking for a full or partial set, at Dentique, we can help you find comfortable, well-fitting dentures that will give your smile a boost while helping restore your ability to talk, chew and laugh – with confidence.

Missing teeth can lead to oral problems in the future, such as bone loss, or situations where remaining teeth ‘drift’ into the gaps left behind. That’s why it’s important to try and restore your teeth wherever possible.

Frequently asked questions
Dentures at Dentique Dental Practice

  1. Dentures are a false set of teeth that can help you eat, talk and chew again. They can also help restore volume to the face where missing teeth has led to sagging, while their realistic look means others likely won’t be able to tell you have them.

  2. In these situations, we’ll have another set made up for you. Although they are durable for their intended use, they are delicate if dropped. Dentures also need replacing every few years.

  3. A dental fixative is all you need to keep them in place, and prevent them from slipping round your mouth. Your dentist will be able to recommend a brand for you during your appointment with us.

  4. They require soaking to remove food and plaque, and you can also brush them gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Any adhesive residue should also be cleaned.

  5. Yes – to help keep your oral health in good condition, you should still clean your gums and palate.

  6. At Dentique, we are clear about all our pricing. You can find out more about the cost of this treatment on our fees page here.

  7. No, it’s not recommended that you wear dentures overnight, which makes it the ideal opportunity to soak them.

  8. Yes – we will still need to see you, in order to keep an eye on your oral health, check the condition of your dentures, and clean them if they become stained or have a build-up of scale.
