At Dentique, Leicester, we know the value of a beautiful smile. So if gaps, discolouration or chipped and broken teeth are affecting your confidence and appearance, we can help with our veneers.

Veneers can help improve the appearance of your teeth by fitting a custom-made cap over the top, which matches the shape, size and colour of your existing teeth. The effect is very realistic, so most people won’t realise you have veneers at all.

I have had many many treatments over the years. My teeth are extremely important to me. I have high expectations and apprehensions of dental treatment.
It is good to walk out once again, more than pleased with my experience of pain free dentistry and more than pleased with the results.
Thank you Dentique

Frequently asked questions
Veneers at Dentique Dental Practice

  1. In order to have veneers fitted, your tooth (or teeth) will be prepared first. This involves gently wearing down the surface of the teeth, on all sides. Impressions are then taken of the teeth, and the veneers are made based from this to ensure a perfect fit. They’re attached to the teeth with a special fixative to keep them securely in place.

  2. There are so many advantages to having veneers. In some cases, such as treating gaps in the teeth, results are much faster than alternatives like braces. You’ll also find veneers are perfectly durable – as much as your natural teeth.

  3. You’ll need to treat your veneers with the same great care and attention you’d show your natural teeth. This means brushing and flossing twice a day, having regular dental visits and keeping an eye out for any signs of oral problems.

  4. If you’re having a few teeth treated, for example the front ones, you might opt for a slightly brighter shade on your new veneers, to help brighten your smile.

  5. Because veneers can help cover over gaps between teeth, they can effectively straighten out your smile – ideal for those with crooked teeth.

  6. We invite all our patients to our practice to get an idea of their oral health and to help understand their wants, needs and concerns. While many people will be able to have the treatment, there are exceptions – such as those who have gum disease.

  7. Timescales can vary and it may depend on how many teeth you’re treating. As a guide, they are usually made within 1-2 weeks.

  8. We offer interest-free credit with Tabeo. To find out more about Tabeo and how it works, visit our Finance page here.
