REPAIR YOUR SMILE
WITH CEREC CROWNS

CEREC Crowns allow your dentist to create a 3D image of your tooth and crown, then have it carved from ceramic and fixed to your tooth all in the same day – with no repeat appointment and no temporary crown needed.

A faster alternative to traditional crowns, they’re also more precise and are more comfortable on your teeth, and can restore your smile – and tooth function – more or less straight away.

Barbara Hooley

Easily accessible location with ample parking space. Thoroughly professional service. Friendly. Highly trained and very experienced dental and clerical staff. They offer a complete service. Very easy to get appointment that suited my schedule. I have been looked after by Peter Crouse from the beginning, and 3 years down the line the results far exceeded my expectations.

Frequently asked questions
CEREC Crowns at Dentique Dental Practice

  1. Prices vary, as you may need multiple teeth treating. We can give you a clearer idea of costs during your consultation.

  2. Decay is caused by a build-up of plaque on the teeth, so it’s related to how often, and how well, you brush and floss your teeth. As opposed to temporary crowns, CEREC Crowns are permanent, so there shouldn’t be spaces between teeth where plaque can build.

  3. High-quality ceramic, known for being durable and for looking similar to your natural teeth. Temporary crowns are known for causing sensitivity and often come off – with CEREC Crowns, you’ll have them fitted same-day and they use a stronger adhesive.

  4. Yes – as well as talk and smile!

  5. They can be less realistic-looking than other types of crown, but are still a relatively discreet option and a far better alternative than having a broken or cracked tooth. In fact, they look and feel a lot like your natural teeth.

  6. The whole process shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours – and the process involves scanning your mouth, rather than taking impressions.

  7. They should last between 10 and 15 years, but with a good oral routine (brushing and flossing twice a day) and regular visits to the dentist, they could last even longer.

  8. No. In addition, CEREC Crowns are a much easier and faster process than standard crowns as they don’t involve taking a mould of your mouth.
